AOC Cour-Cheverny

AOC Cheverny

AOC Cheverny is a Loire AOC located around Cheverny in the Loir-et-Cher department. This AOC, recognized by decree since 1993, covers 532 hectares. It produces red, white and rosé wines.

In white, Cheverny wines are produced mainly from Sauvignon, but we also encounter lesser-known grape varieties such as Arbois or Pineau Blanc de la Loire.

In reds, Cheverny wines are made from gamay, with pinot noir, cabernet franc and côt also present but in a lesser proportion.
