Les Jardins de Fleury in a few words...
Les Jardins de Fleury is a very recent Loire domaine, created by Carole Kohler in the vineyards of Thouars, south of Anjou.
Carole decided in 2016 to replant a small domaine on her family land in Anjou, herself originally from Chinon. Les Jardins was recreated where, in 1962, the last vines of an ancient vineyard, renowned since the 15th century, had been uprooted.
Les Jardins de Fleury was therefore recreated with local grape varieties, chenin for the whites and cabernet franc for the reds. To date, Carole Kohler cultivatesthree hectares of biodynamic vines. Aging takes place in sandstone jars and concrete eggs to avoid masking the wines.
The wines of the Jardins de Fleury are characterized by great elegance and delicacy; an estate to discover very quickly!
