The Bonnet-Huteau estate in a nutshell....
The domaine Bonnet-Huteau is located in the heart of the Muscadet vineyards and the Sèvre et Maine appellation, 20 minutes from Nantes and 10 km from Clisson, a small town with Italian charm on the banks of the Sèvre Nantaise. This estate, on the site of a medieval residence that was the origin of the commune of La Chapelle-Heulin, has been producing Muscadet for over 150 years. The Bonnet-Huteau family cultivates this vineyard, striving to develop the full palette of flavors of Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Haute Expression.For over 12 years, Rémi and Jean-Jacques Bonnet, have practiced viticulture that respects the soil and nature, with limited yields and manual harvesting.
The entire domaine Bonnet-Huteau is farmed organically, with no use of synthetic chemicals. Officially launched in 2010, Biodynamic viticulture of the 40 hectares of vines enables us to develop pure, natural and lively wines that fully express the minerality of our soils ("Biodyvin" certification in progress).
Guide des meilleurs vins de France 2019, domaine 1 étoile: "The Bonnet brothers, jean Jacques and Rémi, heirs to the family estate in Chapelle-Heulin, converted the 40ha of vines to organic farming in 2005. Four terroirs were vinified separately to bring out their finest expression. The 2017s display a suave, gourmet balance that's easy to approach."

Bonnet Blanc is a fresh and airy Muscadet, light and mineral.
With Gautonnières, we gain in power and volume: it's a straightforward Muscadet but endowed with an interesting complexity.
Les Laures is a rounder, greedier wine, more suited to fish than shellfish.

This pinot gris from the domaine Bonnet Huteau is a real coup de coeur discovery. This soft (8 to 10g residual sugar), fruity wine develops exotic fruit aromas. Versatile, it goes well with aperitifs and desserts.
