AOP Corbières

The Corbières PDO in a nutshell

Long synonymous with small, low-quality wines, Corbières wines have made enormous efforts to change their image. Having obtained their AOC in 1985, Corbières wines have never ceased to modernize in pursuit of the excellence of their terroir.

The Corbières terroir benefits from a dry, sunny and warm climate, frequently battered by a north-westerly wind, significantly reducing the number of treatments required for the vines and thus favoring the development of sustainable agriculture. The variety of soils is quite extensive, with schist, limestone, molasse and sandstone, for example.
