The Marsannay terroir lies to the north of the Côtes de Nuits, not far from Gevrey-Chambertin. Red wines are made from Pinot Noir and whites from Chardonnay. Wines from Domaine Jean Fournier are among this appellation's elite, with cuvées such as Saint-Urbain, 3 Terres and Es Chezot.
