Albert de Conti Estate

In Saint-Julien-d'Eymet, in the Bergerac region, the Domaine Albert de Conti is run by Guillaume and Paul de Conti and cellar master Yann Lecoindre. They cultivate 30 hectares using organic farming methods and produce the Cuvée des Conti, La Vigne d'Albert, and a naturally sparkling wine.

Domaine Albert de Conti: Three Young Winemakers from the Bergerac Region

Guillaume de Conti arrived at Château Tour des Gendres in 2011; his brother Paul joined him in 2013; and Yann Lecoindre became cellar master in 2017. After working together for about five years, the trio founded Domaine Albert de Conti, based in Saint-Julien-d’Eymet. The oldest vines were planted in 1966 by Albert, the grandfather of Guillaume and Paul, after whom the estate is named.

30 hectares of organic vineyards, moving toward biodynamics

The estate cultivates 30 hectares using organic farming methods and is moving toward certain principles of biodynamics and agroforestry. It produces white wines from Sémillon, Sauvignon, and Muscadelle, and red wines from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc, all within the Bergerac appellation. Two grape varieties never before grown in the appellation were planted in the spring of 2022.

Food and Wine Pairings

The white pairs well with river fish, shrimp, foie gras, and Cabécou cheese. The red pairs well with charcuterie and grilled meats. The pét-nat is best enjoyed as an aperitif.

Domaine Albert de Conti Bergerac - Albert's Vineyard 2024

La vigne d'Albert du Château Tour des Gendres is a wine that pays tribute to Albert, the grandfather. This sulfur-free Bergerac has a very clean nose with notes of spices and red fruits. The palate is crisp, salivating and greedy. A buddy wine, in no way rustic, that reconciles with natural wines.Wine without added sulfurGuide des meilleurs vins de France 2018: 16/20
