Le Mas des Brousses in a few words....

Le Mas des Brousses is a pretty 9-hectare estate located in Puéchabon, in the heart of the Terrasses du Larzac PDO, very close to Saint-guilhem le Désert.

Le Mas des Brousses was created by Géraldine Combes and Xavier Péraud in 1997, taking over the vineyards from Géraldine's family. The domaine produces organic red wines in AOP Languedoc and Terrasses du Larzac, and an atypical white in IGP.

Le Mas des Brousses works with respect for biodiversity: the vines are bordered by garrigue with limestone soil, rich in plant species that host insects useful to the natural balance. Most of the estate's vines are planted on cailloutis or limestone pebble soils; the stony cover of these soils limits weed development and water evaporation.

Mas des Brousses grows mainly red wine grapes, including 30% mourvèdre, but also grenache, syrah, cinsault and merlot. The estate's organic wines are full-bodied and expressive, always beautifully defined.

The Mas des Brousses cuvées

Chasseur de Brousse is a 100% cuvée, fruity and greedy, a wine of immediate pleasure and endowed with a lovely background.

Cléo is a recent cuvée from the estate: an AOP Languedoc, it exalts scents of black fruits and blond tobacco.

The Terrasses du Larzac is an organic wine for laying down that requires a few years to blossom.

Finally, the white, made from 10 different grape varieties, is powerful and aromatic, with notes of yellow fruit and freshly cut herbs.
