AOC Saint-Bris
AOP Saint-Bris is a French wine appellation located in Burgundy, about 20 kilometers southeast of Auxerre. It is known for the production of dry white wines made from the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety.
The Saint-Bris vineyard is located on the Côte d'Auxerrois, at an altitude of between 150 and 250 meters. The soils are mainly composed of clay and limestone, which give the wines their distinct minerality and vivacity.
The climate of the region is ideal for winegrowing.
The region's climate is continental, with hot, dry summers and cold, wet winters. These climatic conditions are conducive to the production of elegant, complex dry white wines.
White wines from this region have a distinctive minerality and vivacity.
The white wines of the Saint-Bris PDO are generally pale yellow to golden yellow in color. They present aromas of citrus, flowers and white fruits. They are dry, with good acidity and pronounced minerality. They can age for several years.
The domaine Goisot spearheads this PDO, with the cuvées Exogyra Virgula and the cuvée Moury in particular.

Domaine Goisot Saint-Bris - Exogyra Virgula 2023
What a cuvée Exogyra Virgula du domaine Goisot! The wine is slender, lively, with notes of menthol, basil and gunflint. It has great volume and charm. In short, complex and refreshing, this Exogyra Virgula bottle is superb!
