Le Château de Caraguilhes in a few words...
Le Château de Caraguilhes is a superb Corbières estate protected by 500 hectares of garrigue, constituting a rich ecosystem and a unique environment. Situated some 30 kilometers from the Mediterranean Sea at altitudes ranging from 100 to 180 meters, the Caraguilhes vineyard is exposed to a north-westerly wind (the Tramontane) that naturally sanitizes the vines by limiting fungal diseases and the density of insect pests. This wind also induces ambient coolness in the vineyard during hot summer days, helping to maintain good levels of acidity in the grapes and ensure slower, more complete ripening.
Le Château de Caraguilhes has been organic since 1992 to best assert its terroir and produce wines with strong personality. A great success story!

The glouglou des Gourgoules is a Corbières full of fruit and freshness, supple and easy to marry.
The cuvée les Gourgoules has more power and develops on notes of black fruit and cocoa.

Cochon Volant blanc has a very expressive nose with notes of apricot and acacia supported by a mineral touch. On the palate, round and full-bodied with a freshness that's always present. Viognier brings here all its aromatic fullness without heaviness.

Cochon Volant is an organic Corbières from Château de Caraguilhes . The nose of this organic wine offers very intense fruit aromas with notes of raspberry, blackcurrant and cherry. On the palate, the attack is silky, with notes of crushed raspberry and burlat cherry underlining the wine's fleshiness. The tannins give the wine excellent staying power, reinforcing its overall balance. It's a fleshy, crisp, pleasurable wine.

Cochon Volant 2025 is Château de Caraguilhes' wine for pleasure and conviviality in the Languedoc AOP — "a full-bodied, crisp, enjoyable wine, easy to share."
Dense color with intense purple highlights, brimming with youthful vigor. Nose of beautiful intensity—raspberry, blackcurrant, cherry. Silky on the palate, crushed raspberry and Burlat cherry, well-structured tannins, freshness, and finesse. Open 1 hour before serving, serve at 15–16°C.
30% Grenache Noir, 30% Carignan, 20% Syrah, 20% Cinsault. Clay-limestone and clay-sandy soils, Saint-Laurent-de-la-Cabrerisse. Certified organic since 1992, biodynamic (Biodyvin and Demeter). Traditional vinification, aged in tanks.
Aging potential: 3 to 5 years.

The tannins give the wine excellent hold, reinforcing its overall balance. On the palate, we find the freshness of our Caraguilhes terroir, of which this wine is a modern expression. This white organic wine from Château de Caraguilhes has a beautifully complex nose between white fruit and the mineral side of the wine. It develops on notes of almond blossom, white peach and apricot underlined on the second nose by light citrus scents. The palate is full and silky, with a lovely freshness. Citrus fruits are present, accompanied by a hint of acacia and fennel. A well-balanced organic wine with good length at the back of the palate.

Le trou de l'Ermite du Château de Caraguilhes possesses a dense nose marked by beautiful fruit full of freshness. It develops on deep notes of blackberry and licorice, followed by rosemary and thyme. The palate is round and full-bodied, underlined by dark berry aromas and hints of black tapenade. The freshness of the mid-palate gives the wine real personality. A luminous pale gold color with brilliant highlights. A complex and precise nose—candied lemon, pink grapefruit, white flowers, a touch of fennel, and subtle woody notes. Lively and generous on the palate, round and fresh, with candied fruit and a long, mineral, and pure finish. Serve at 12°C; open 1 hour before serving.
65% White Grenache, 35% Roussanne, single vineyard "Champ du Château" at an altitude of 150–200 m, Boutenac terroir. Certified organic since 1987, biodynamic (Biodyvin and Demeter). Fermented and aged for 9 months in demi-muids.
Aging potential: at least 5 years.
