Domaine de la Noblaie

The Domaine de la Noblaie in a few words...

The Domaine de La Noblaie was, a few hundred years ago, part of a polyculture complex where the land surrounding the estate was already reserved for vine cultivation, as shown on the Cassini map of 1765. Wine presses, cellars and vats carved out of the tufa rock bear witness to these bygone days. The ancient cultivation of vines has given our hamlet its name: "Le Vau Breton" which, in Rabelaisian parlance, means "Valley of Cabernet Franc", the unique grape variety of Chinon red wine.

The wines of the domaine de La Noblaie are characterized by beautiful precision, soft tannins and lots of gourmandise. Lovely, easy-to-match bottles.
