Some Château Mille Roses vines are over 60 years old, giving the wines depth and complexity.
The Château Mille Roses produces red wines from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The wines are aged in French oak barrels for 12 to 18 months to give them complexity and structure.
The wines of Château Mille Roses are characterized by rare elegance, fine tannins and remarkable balance. The ageing is discreet and just supports the wines.

L'enfant is the second wine of the Château Mille Roses in the Haut-médoc appellation, all suppleness and gourmandise. Depending on the year, 80% to 90% Merlot and the balance Cabernet Sauvignon. Its structure nevertheless allows it to be aged almost "like a great wine", i.e. in barrels that have already aged one wine for one year.

This Haut-Medoc du Château Mille Roses comes from 4 parcels classified as Haut-médoc around the Château . The soils are composed of fine, deep gravel. The majority of Merlot grapes give the wine a gourmet flavour, enhanced by silky, elegant tannins. A balanced, fine style, in line with the Margaux produced by the same Château. Very pretty success in 2021 than the Château Mille Roses. This organic margaux is a great cuvée for ageing: complex, velvety and powerful, it will improve over 7 years. Excellent value for money.
