Clos Lapeyre
Le Clos Lapeyre is a winegrowing estate located in Jurançon, in southwestern France. It is run by Jean-Bernard Larrieu, who has been the owner and winemaker since 1997. The estate has been certified organic since 2001.
Le Clos Lapeyre boasts 15 hectares of vines, planted on clay-limestone soils. The grape varieties grown are petit manseng, gros manseng and courbu. The estate produces a range of dry, semi-dry and sweet white wines.
The Clos Lapeyre estate is situated on a hill at an altitude of 200 meters. The vines are planted on terraces, optimizing exposure to the sun.
