Mas Bruguière

Le Mas Bruguière in a few words...

The Mas Bruguière is the fruit of the labor of 7 generations of winemakers who have succeeded one another on this land nestled in the valley separating the 2 limestone colossi: the Pic Saint Loup and the Hortus. Mas Bruguière cultivates 20 hectares of vines, divided into 3 blocks. The size of the estate allows us to work on a "human scale". The philosophy at Mas Bruguière is to get as close as possible to the raw material and its terroir. This is one of the reasons why we have opted for organic farming. Aging is carried out in large muid or demi-muid containers (1200 or 600-liter barrels) and 50 hl or 30 hl wooden vats, to preserve the raw material as much as possible. No oenological additives in the cellar, doses of So2 are minimized, no filtering on the reds, and only very light on the whites and rosés.

Guide des meilleurs vins de France 2021 about Mas Bruguière: Xavier Bruguière has taken over this historic Pic Saint-Loup estate from his father Guilhem. The vines are impeccably tended. The reds are round and aromatic, dominated by Syrah (as is often the case in this sector) but always well-balanced by Grenache. They aptly convey these fresh terroirs, always with great elegance and an undeniable capacity for ageing, especially in the grand cuvées with their long maturation periods. The white wines are evolving towards greater freshness. An estate that naturally climbs into the starred category this year!

The Mas Bruguiere cuvées

The cuvée L'Arbouse is a supple, greedy Pic-Saint Loup, full of freshness. Lovers of body-built wines, run away, here we're all about elegance.

With the cuvée Grenadière, the estate offers us a great organic wine worthy of the fine Syrahs of the Rhône Valley.

Les Muriers is a gourmet white wine, gourmand, round and full of freshness.
