Les Grenadières du Mas Bruguière is a Syrah-dominant vin de garde. Made from old vines, this organic Pic-Saint-Loup wine has an intense, complex nose that develops notes of very ripe black fruit, licorice and pepper. On the palate, well-built, dense and deep, this particularly cool terroir at the foot of Pic Saint Loup reveals remarkable balance.Guide des meilleurs vins de France 2024 : 94/100The Mas Bruguière is the fruit of the work of 7 generations of winemakers who have succeeded one another on this land nestled in the valley separating the 2 limestone colossi: Pic Saint Loup and Hortus. The Mas Bruguière cultivates 2 ha of vines, made up of 3 islets. The estate's surface area allows us to work on a "human-sized" operation. The philosophy of Mas Bruguière is to get as close as possible to the raw material and its terroir. This is one of the reasons why we have opted for organic farming. Aging is carried out in large muid or demi-muid containers (12 or 6-liter barrels) and 5 hl or 3 hl wooden vats, to preserve the raw material as much as possible. No additives in the cellar, minimal doses of So2, no filtration on the reds, and only very light filtration on the whites and rosés.
