AOC Beaumes de Venise is part of the southern Côtes du Rhône.

Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise has had AOC status since 1943; it has made the region's reputation and can be considered one of the finest muscats in the world. In the Rhône Valley, only the winegrowers of Beaumes de Venise cultivate muscat à petit grains in order to produce this great mellow white wine.
.A fruity, airy wine that takes advantage of the freshness of the heights, Beaumes-de-Venise red, meanwhile, attained the supreme rank of Cru des Côtes du Rhône in 2005. We particularly recommend the Château la Croix des Pins.
Perfectly structured, Beaumes-de-Venise red Crus are powerful, fruity and gourmet. They blend harmoniously with grilled meats and dishes in sauce.
