The Domaine Giacometti is a superb Corsican estate producing top-flight white, red and rosé wines. Prices are measured, it's all about enjoying them!
The Domaine Giacometti is a winery located in Casta, Corsica. It was founded in 1987 by Laurent Giacometti and his son Christian. The estate is located in the heart of the Agriates Desert, a mountainous and arid region of Corsica. The soils are clay-granitic, and the region enjoys plenty of sunshine. Domaine Giacometti produces red, white and rosé wines. Red wines are made from Niellucciu and Sciaccarellu grapes. White wines are made from Vermentinu and Grenache blanc grapes. Rosé wines are based on Niellucciu and Sciaccarellu grape varieties.
The Giacommetti estate owns 60 hectares of vines, including 45 hectares of Niellucciu vines, Corsica's emblematic red grape variety. The estate's wines are certified organic and biodynamic.

The Domaine Giacometti produces several cuvées, some of which caught our eye:
Les Agriates Rouges: a powerful, complex red wine made from Niellucciu and Sciaccarellu.
Les Agriates Blancs: a fresh, fruity white wine, based on Vermentinu and Grenache blanc.
Les Agarites rosés is a model of Corsican rosé, both fruity and vinous.
Sempre Cuntentu: a red from Sciaccarellu with a silky texture and expressive fruit.
Sarah Cuvée red is a spicy, structured 100% nielluciu that deserves a few years of cellaring.
