The Coteaux du Salagou, located in the heart of the Hérault region, take their name from the famous Lac du Salagou, surrounded by red hills known as "ruffes". These iron-oxide-rich volcanic soils, combined with a sunny Mediterranean climate, create a unique terroir, conducive to the production of wines of character.

The strong visual identity of the landscape - red earth contrasting with the deep blue of the lake - is reflected in the wines: power, minerality and authenticity. This vineyard, classified as IGP (Indication Géographique Protégée), benefits from a freedom of grape varieties that allows organic winemakers to express all their creativity.

• Red wines: made from grape varieties such as Grenache, Carignan, Syrah or Merlot, they reveal notes of red and black fruits, spices, garrigue and sometimes a mineral touch linked to the volcanic soils. On the palate, they are powerful yet balanced, with a lovely freshness.

• Rosé wines: fruity, crisp and gourmet, perfect for aperitifs and Mediterranean summer cuisine.

• White wines: made from grape varieties such as Vermentino, Chardonnay or Roussanne, they are distinguished by their vivacity, floral aromas and a minerality that makes them very digestible.

The Coteaux du Salagou winemakers we select work in organic agriculture. The soils are maintained without synthetic pesticides, biodiversity is encouraged, and vinification is carried out with a minimum of inputs.
