The Domaine Jaeger Defaix in a few words....

The Domaine Jaeger Defaix was created in October 2002 when Hélène Jaeger-Defaix took over a first parcel of Rully 1er cru Mont-Palais blanc (Saône & Loire) belonging to her great-aunt, Henriette Niepce.

The domaine expanded in November 2003 when Hélène took over a second parcel, this time located in Rully 1er cru Préaux rouge. This parcel was harvested for the first time in 2004. In 2011, a parcel of Rully village was taken over. The Jaeger Defaix estate now covers more than 5 hectares of vines. The domaine Jaeger Defaix produces organic red and organic white wines, based on pinot noir for the reds and chardonnay for the whites.

The organic wines produced by Domaine Jaeger Defaix are of the highest standard: these gourmet wines possess magnificent breeding and beautiful complexity. The domaine's 1er cru wines can be kept for a good ten years.
