Chateau Leydet Valentin

The Château Leydet Valentin is a French wine estate located in Saint-Émilion, Gironde. It was founded in 1862 by the Leydet family and produces red wines in the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation.

The estate has 8.52 hectares of vineyards, planted with Merlot (70%) and Cabernet Franc (30%). The vines have an average age of 40 years and are grown organically.

At 33, Frédéric LEYDET, after graduating in viticulture-oenology, manages the family vineyard at Château Leydet Valentin. Having arrived in 1996, he now manages 100% of Leydet-Valentin.

The wines of Château Leydet Valentin are known for their power and complexity. They are generally characterized by a dark ruby color, aromas of black fruit, cherry and blackcurrant, and a balanced structure.
