Chateau de Côme is a wine estate located in the commune of Saint-Estèphe, in the Médoc region of Gironde. It has been run by the Velge family since 1997. The estate manages 25 hectares of vines, spread over 20 parcels. The vines are planted to 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot and 10% Petit Verdot.

Chateau de Côme wines are vinified in keeping with Bordeaux traditions. Alcoholic fermentation and malolactic fermentation are carried out in stainless steel tanks. Aging takes place in French oak barrels, for 12 to 18 months.

Chateau de Côme is the first certified organic wine estate in Saint-Estèphe. The estate's wines are vinified without the use of pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers. Château de Côme wines are distinguished by their finesse and elegance. They are produced from quality grapes grown on carefully cultivated vines.

Chateau de Côme Saint-Estephe - 2017

This Chateau de Côme 2017 is a Saint-Estèphe that lacks neither energy nor charm. The robe is a bright, limpid garnet, after a fruity, fresh attack, the palate exults, juicy to perfection and carried by a very serious tannic structure.

Chateau de Côme Saint-Estephe - 2020

The Château de Côme 2020 is a great success. The nose reveals notes of dark berries, toasted spices, nuts and graphite. Medium- to full-bodied, with juicy tannins and a polished, silky texture. Lively, succulent fruit character. Luscious finish. Enjoy over 10 years.
