The Bordaxuria estate is a winery located in Ispoure, in the French Basque Country. It is situated on the steep slopes of the Arradoy mountain, opposite Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port. The estate boasts 9 hectares of vines in production, 80% of which are planted on terraces.
The Bordaxuria estate was born in the 1980s, when the Reca family planted 8 hectares of vines. The family also owned a flock of sheep, and opted for cooperation. In 2014, the family's three daughters decided to take over both activities, developing cheese processing and winemaking.
Today, the estate is managed by Elorri Reca and Brice Robelet. The estate produces red and white wines using organic farming methods.
