The Domaine des Guyons extends over several hectares of vines, ideally situated on the clay-limestone slopes of Saumur. This privileged location gives the wines great elegance and remarkable ageing potential.

The Saumur appellation benefits from a temperate oceanic climate, ideal for growing Cabernet Franc and Chenin Blanc. Mild winters and moderate summers allow the grapes to ripen slowly, preserving their natural freshness and aromatic complexity. The estate's soils are mainly composed of tuffeau, the region's emblematic limestone rock, which gives the wines a fine minerality and refined structure. There are also parcels on clay and sand terroirs, which give the wines greater suppleness and fruitiness.
