The Minervois PDO in a nutshell
The Minervois AOC, covering 4,400 hectares, is located between Narbonne and Carcassonne. The wines produced are predominantly red wines made from Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah grapes. Organic Minervois wines are powerful, well-structured and sunny, with notes of spice and black fruit. The best wines can be kept for a long time.
The quality/price ratios are astonishing, with notably the domaine des Homs, the domaine de Courbissac or the Chateau Armoria
