Guide des meilleurs vins de France 2020 about Domaine les Capréoles: "Cédric Lecareux is one of those neo-winemakers who are getting Beaujolais moving. Technical director of a major Languedoc négociant for six harvests, he settled in Régnié with his wife Catherine, an agricultural engineer like himself, on an abandoned domaine. As soon as they arrived, in 2014, they committed to organic certification, confirmed in 2017. Adhering to the maxim "the rule is that there are no rules", they adapt de-stemming and ageing to each vintage. Marked by a rich base, juicy tannins, the wines give Régnié its true cru status."
