Raymond Usseglio Estate

The Raymond Usseglio estate in a few words....

The Raymond Usseglio estate was originally created by grandfather Francis USSEGLIO, who came from Italy in 1931 and settled in Châteauneuf du pape. In 1963, Raymond took over from him, and together with my mother Danielle, they created and expanded the estate, which became known as DOMAINE Usseglio Raymond. Since 1999, Raymond's son has been cultivating the estate's 24 hectares. The estate is managed biodynamically to bring out the best in the terroirs of each parcel.

The estate is certified organic and biodynamic. The wines are well-balanced and delicious. The domaine Raymond Usseglio has progressed in the precision of its ageing and the wines possess a beautiful purity.

The cuvées of Domaine Raymond Usseglio

The cuvées les Claux rouge and les Claux blancs are lovely Côtes du Rhône, worked on gourmandise. These wines are also well-balanced, making them a great introduction to the region's wines.

The Chateauneuf du pape wines from Domaine Raymond Usseglio are greedy and full-bodied. Like the region's great wines, a few years in the cellar will do them the world of good.

The Chateauneuf du Pape domaine has a beautiful balance in red: powerful and gourmand, it should be drunk over 7 years.

The Chateauneuf du Pape blanc is elegant with a nice freshness for this region.

La part des anges is a Mourvèdre-dominant cuvée built for aging.

La cuvée Impériale is made from very old Grenache vines, a cuvée to be forgotten for 20 years in the cellar.
