The domaine Raymond Usseglio was originally created by grandfather Francis USSEGLIO who came from Italy in 1931 and settled in Châteauneuf du pape. In 1963, Raymond took over from him, and together with my mother Danielle, they created and expanded the estate, which became known as DOMAINE Usseglio Raymond. Since 1999, Raymond's son has been cultivating the estate's 24 hectares. The estate is run biodynamically to bring out the best in the terroirs of each plot. The estate is certified organic and biodynamic. The wines are beautifully balanced and full-bodied. The Raymond Usseglio domain has progressed in the precision of its ageing, and the wines possess a beautiful purity.les Claux red and white cuvées are lovely Côtes du Rhône, worked on gourmandise. The Chateauneuf du Pape from the Raymond Usseglio estate are greedy and full-bodied. Like the region's great wines, a few years in the cellar will do them a world of good.
