Le Chemin des rêves in a nutshell...
Le Chemin des Rêves, run by Benoit Viot, produces particularly interesting wines in the Pic Saint-Loup and Grès de Montpellier appellations in particular. For Benoit, it was a professional reconversion: this former pharmacist did well to sell other medicines. He chose to settle in the magnificent terroirs of Pic-Saint-Loup, from where he has been running his estate for over 10 years. Always respectful of nature, he first ran his vineyard using integrated farming methods, before recently taking the step to organic management, as the estate has been certified organic since 2017.
Located 10 km from Montpellier, the estate's name was chosen thanks to the small path that borders the vineyards, where Benoît and his wife love to stroll, paint...
Thanks to exceptional terroirs and an ideal Mediterranean climate, the Chemin des Rêves expresses all the richness and complexity of typical Languedoc grape varieties. Between power and finesse, its cuvées stand out for their freshness and balance, making this estate a Pic Saint-Loup staple. Domaine Chemin des Rêves covers 20 hectares, benefiting from a Mediterranean climate marked by warm summers and mountain influences that favor optimal grape ripening.
The wines are constantly improving, with great precision and intensity. The work in the vineyard undertaken at Chemin des Rêves has enabled the wines to gain even more depth. An estate to be discovered for the gourmandise and balance of its wines. The quality/price ratios are remarkable.
