The Domaine Pommier in a few words...

The Domaine Pommier is a family-run wine estate located in the Chablis terroir. Domaine Pommier was founded in 1930 by Jean Pommier in Poinchy. Since 1990, Isabelle and Denis Pommier have skilfully managed their various parcels. Domaine Pommier began as a small vineyard in 1995 with just 2 hectares, and has now grown to 23 hectares. In 1995, the couple installed their first winery. In 2014, Domaine Pommier acquired organic certification.

The vines of Domaine Denis Pommier are grown on Kimmeridgian soil. Composed of layers of very compact limestone and soft clay marl, this exceptional terroir also contains fossilized marine organisms. From this terroir are born Burgundy wines, which combine elegance, minerality and freshness.

The Domaine Pommier is renowned for producing top-quality Chablis white wines, made from Chardonnay, the only grape variety allowed in the Chablis appellation. Domaine Denis Pommier completes its production with a Bourgogne Pinot Noir that is round on the palate, with a nose of red fruit aromas.

The organic wines of Domaine Pommier, are balanced, always ripe and chiselled, with great precision throughout the range. They are one of Chablis's best-sellers.

Guide des meilleurs vins de France 2023: "Isabelle and Denis Pommier set up in the village of Poinchy in 1990, with 2 hectares of vines (23 today). Certain Premier Crus undergo partial fermentation in wood, and all vinification is carried out using indigenous yeasts. The entire production is of excellent quality, especially the entry-level wines. Certified organic since 2014, this estate has produced superb wines, always very ripe!"
