AOC Ventoux (also called Côtes du Ventoux before 2008) is an AOC in the southern Rhône Valley. AOC Ventoux covers an area of 7,450 hectares, where grapes are grown to produce red, rosé and white wines. AOC Ventoux production is the second highest in the Rhône Valley.

The grape varieties present in AOC Ventoux are grenache, syrah, cinsault, mourvèdre, carignan puor the reds and clairette, bourboulenc, grenache blanc and roussanne for the whites

For a long time, AOC Ventoux had a bad reputation for producing strong, alcoholic wines. Winemakers in love with the AOV Ventoux have given it a new lease of life.
