CloseThe Domaine Bonnigal-Bodet is a family-run winery located in Limeray, Touraine. Founded in 2015 by Jean-Baptiste Bonnigal and Stéphane Bodet, it now covers 40 hectares of vines spread across the Touraine-Amboise, Touraine Sauvignon and Crémant de Loire appellations.
The vineyards of the Domaine Bonnigal-Bodet are planted on clay-limestone and siliceous soils, characteristic of the Touraine region. These soils, combined with a temperate oceanic climate, give the grapes beautiful ripeness and aromatic richness.
Jean-Baptiste Bonnigal and Stéphane Bodet are two passionate winemakers who work with respect for nature and terroir. They are committed to producing quality wines that are authentic and expressive of the Touraine terroir. The estate has been certified organic since 2018. Conversion to biodynamic farming began in 2022. The estate produces around 200,000 bottles a year.
The Domaine Bonnigal-Bodet produces a wide range of white, red and sparkling wines, all organically grown.
The white wines are dry and aromatic, with a beautiful minerality. They are made from the Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc grape varieties.

Guide des meilleurs vins de France 2024: "One of the revelations of recent years in Touraine! The domaine was taken over by Jean-Baptiste Bonnigal and Stéphane Bodet in 2015, a young and talented tandem who reduced the surface area from 80 to 40 hectares (in organic conversion) in order to refocus their production on their best parcels in Amboise. A corner of Touraine where côt (malbec) and chenin come to the fore. (...) For the whites, particular care is taken with the wide range of dry chenins isolated in lieux-dits. Grape maturities are just right, and the meticulous ageing in wood is an undeniable signature of these wines of a variety and quality few equaled in this sector."
