The Domaine Goisot in a few words...
Le domaine Goisot is located in Saint Bris le Vineux, in northern Burgundy, not far from Auxerre. The domaine produces white wines in AOP Saint-Bris, Côtes d'Auxerre and, more recently, Chablis. The reds are AOP Côtes d'auxerre and Irnacy.
For Ghislaine and Jean-Hugues Goisot, who run Domaine Goisot, the quality of a great wine begins in the vineyard. Early on, they chose to work without chemicals, using biodynamic methods to obtain the finest expression of terroir in the grapes.
The Domaine Goisot produces great white and red wines at reasonable prices. The style of Domaine Goisot wines is unique: crystalline, always very clean and elegant. Domaine Goisot's Pinot Noirs have never been so charming, and the whites are unfailingly consistent. The last few vintages have been complicated in terms of volumes, with production very limited due to frost and hail!

Admittedly, they only vinify wines from the regional Burgundy appellation, but with such exacting standards that these modest cuvées achieve very high quality. To achieve this, they work long and hard to obtain the finest grapes (certified biodynamic), which they then carefully vinify. The beautiful chalky terroirs of the Côtes d'Auxerre are equally well-suited to Sauvignon (Saint-Bris) and Chardonnay, although they often produce wines that are too thin due to excessive yields. At Goisot, it's the other way around: the wines' intensity and staying power make them worthy of being cited as examples.

The Gueule de Loup and La Londonne cuvées from domaine Goisot belong to the elite of Burgundian whites made from chardonnay. They should be reserved for the finest fish and dishes you can offer at the table.
In reds, Domaine Goisot's Corps de Garde cuvée is not to be missed. We recommend letting it age for a few years to enjoy it to the full. It features notes of red berries and tree branches. An elegant cuvée.

Domaine Goisot is run using Demeter-certified biodynamic agriculture. The estate has been certified organic since 2001.

The Saint Bris PDO is located in France, in northern Burgundy. The dry whites are made from Sauvignon, the only appellation in Burgundy to use this grape variety.
