AOP Bandol

The Bandol PDO in a few words

We offer you a selection of Bandol organic wines. Bandol produces magnificent organic and natural wines thanks to an exceptional terroir. Rosés are deep and complex, often best with a year's cellaring. The reds are powerful and built for ageing, so be patient with them!

The Bandol PDO was created in 1941 to protect the quality of the region's wines. It imposes strict rules on production, vinification and ageing. For example, red wines must be aged for at least 18 months in oak barrels before being marketed. White wines must be aged for at least 8 months in oak barrels, while rosé wines must be aged for at least 3 months.

Organic Bandol red wines are produced from Mourvèdre, Grenache and Cinsault. Organic white Bandol wines are produced from Clairette, Bourboulenc and Ugni Blanc, while rosés are produced from the same grape varieties as the reds.

Organic Bandol wines are produced from the same grape varieties as the reds.
