Domaine Mouthes le Bihan has been a family business since the 19th century. It was taken over by Catherine and Jean-Mary Le Bihan in 2000, who decided to convert the estate to organic farming. Domaine Mouthes le Bihan has been certified organic since 2008. The vines are cultivated without pesticides or herbicides, and the wines are vinified in the traditional way, without the addition of chemicals.
The vineyards of Domaine Mouthes le Bihan are located on clay-limestone soils, which are ideal for growing vines. The climate is temperate, with hot, dry summers and mild winters.
