The territory is located on the last terraces raised by the emergence of the Corbières limestone massif, and they are mainly on slopes. These soils produce powerful wines, but with plenty of fruit and slipperiness.

The Domaine des Schistes has chosen to respect and express the terroir by turning to organic farming. The wines are good value for money, both reds and whites. The Maury and Muscat wines are also worth a detour!

Les cuvées du domaine des Schistes

The Illico cuvées in Côtes Catalanes are pretty, thirst-quenching wines, full of fruit. Illico red is soupy and greedy, while illico white is mineral and straightforward.

The Côtes du roussillon Essencial are more powerful but still round. Essencial red is powerful yet balanced. Essencial blanc is fruity and supple, ideal as an aperitif.

Parcellaires need time to blossom! La Coumeilleis powerful and requires a good decanting to be enjoyed in its youth. Caune d'en Jaufre is a carignan cuvée, between spice and freshness.

Vintage Maury is excellent value for money, round and delicious, with well-digested alcohol. Grenache suits it so well!

Classic Muscat is supple and light, while Cuvée Joia is more intense and powerful. For lovers of oxidative cuvées, the Soleraand Rancio are magnificent flasks.
