The palate is balanced, fresh and crisp.The Domaine des Schistes is located at the crossroads of the terroirs of the Agly valley, on the communes of Estagel, Tautavel and Maury. The first vinification at Domaine des Schistes dates back to 1989, and now the vineyard covers 55 Ha.As its name suggests, the estate is planted mainly on schistose marls. The land lies on the last terraces raised by the emergence of the Corbières limestone massif, and is mainly on slopes. The Domaine des Schistes has chosen to respect and express its terroir by turning to organic farming. The wines are good value for money, both reds and whites.
