The Domaine Pierre André is a family estate located in Courthézon, (between Orange and Avignon), in the Châteauneuf du Pape appellation area, in the Rhône Valley, in the South of France.
The Domaine Pierre André benefits from a terroir of great diversity: galets roulés (quartzites), clays, sands, limestones. This enables it to produce wines of great finesse and freshness. The textures are silky and the wines full-bodied. The average age of the vines, 80 years, enables the production of exceptional wines.
The total surface area of Le domaine Pierre André is 18 ha, including 16 ha in the Châteauneuf du Pape appellation. The estate has been run under certified organic farming since 1980 and biodynamic cultivation since 1992.
The Chateauneuf-du-pape rouge du domaine Pierre André will go very well with lamb or red meat dishes: a 7 o'clock lamb or entrecote will be good companions.
The white Chateauneuf-du-pape from the domaine Pierre André will, for its part, go well with fish in sauce or even poultry.
