The Domaine d'Ouréa in a few words....

The Domaine d'Ouréa is a young estate created in 2009 and located in Vacqueras and Gigondas. Andrien Roustan, who runs the estate, produces magnificent red wines aged in concrete tanks. Domaine d'Ouréa's aim is to make wines that are easy to digest, despite their very southern feel.

The estate has been run under agriculture biologique since its inception. The estate's different parcels are assembled for each PDO. The only exception to the rule is the La Belle Cime cuvée, which comes from the estate's highest altitude vines.

The estate covers 20 hectares, and the domaine has decided to convert to biodynamic farming from 2020, after 8 years of organic certification in order to find even more energy and vitality in the wines.

The Domaine d'Ouréa cuvées

Tire-Bouchon is the domaine's vin de pays, a supple, easy-drinking vin de copain. A Rhône red wine that doesn't take itself too seriously.

The estate's Côte du Rhône is supple and indulgent, with lovely substance.

The Vacqueras from Domaine d'Ouréa is expressive and flattering: a powerful yet elegant organic wine, with notes of black fruits.

The Gigondas needs a few months to open up and develop its notes of sweet spices, ripe plums. The tannins are fine and the wine respects bright fruit! The 70% Grenache expresses itself wonderfully, enhanced by 20% Syrah and 10% Cinsault!
