The Château Cazebonne organic wines are the perfect combination of traditional know-how and modern ecological practices.

Chateau Cazebonne has a rich history dating back centuries. Nestled in the heart of the Graves appellation in the Bordeaux region, this estate has stood the test of time, combining tradition and innovation. Recently, it has taken a decisive turn by adopting organic viticulture, a choice motivated by a desire to preserve its unique terroir while meeting the new expectations of organic wine lovers.

Chateau Cazebonne rests on gravelly soils and benefits from a climate tempered by oceanic influence, two key elements that contribute to the exceptional quality of its wines. The soils, rich in gravel and minerals, allow excellent heat retention, favoring even ripening of the grapes.

This ideal location enables the estate to produce organic wines of great finesse, marked by an elegant minerality, typical of Graves. Each cuvée fully expresses the character of this exceptional terroir, offering wines that are both complex and balanced, capturing the essence of the region's climate and soils.

Chateau Cazebonne is committed to organic and biodynamic viticulture. This approach is based on environmentally-friendly agriculture, banning the use of synthetic chemicals such as pesticides and herbicides. This choice reflects a desire to protect the soil and local biodiversity, while producing purer, healthier wines.

Biodynamics, in particular, is a philosophy adopted by the estate to take this eco-responsible approach even further. It's based on the idea that vines should be in harmony with their natural environment. Thus, Château Cazebonne uses plant-based preparations, compost, and takes into account lunar cycles to care for the vines.

These practices not only preserve the health of the soil, but also promote a better expression of terroir in the wines. Château Cazebonne's organic wines therefore reflect a rare purity and authenticity, offering unique flavors that captivate wine lovers.

This commitment to biodynamics contributes to the production of exceptional wines, while limiting the estate's environmental impact.

Chateau Cazebonne offers a range of organic wines that reflect both the richness of its terroir and its unique know-how. The estate cultivates traditional grape varieties of the Bordeaux region, such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Semillon, which form the basis of its emblematic cuvées.

Château Cazebonne Vin de France - As in 1900 2022

Like in 1900 from the Château Cazebonne is an original wine made from old Bordeaux grape varieties. The wine develops original notes of potpourri, cinnamon and peach. A blend of old grape varieties: mancin, castets, bouchalès, saint-macaire and jurançon noir, this 2022 maintains a direct relationship with the fruit, but it's hard to imagine such a wine expression in Bordeaux. A balance between concentration and salient uprightness, a touch punchy.'
