The Domaine Rijckaert has its roots in Jean Rijckaert's passion for wine. Originally from Belgium, he fell in love with the landscapes and viticultural potential of the Jura, and founded his estate in 1998. Since then, with a respectful approach to nature and a commitment to excellence, the domaine has continued to grow and establish itself as one of the benchmarks of the Jura.
The Domaine Rijckaert vineyards stretch across steep hillsides, benefiting from ideal exposure and a unique soil composed of marl and limestone. This exceptional terroir lends the wines a distinctive minerality and incomparable aromatic complexity.

Cuvée Les Sarres Chardonnay: from vines planted on clay-limestone soils, this Chardonnay is distinguished by its freshness and elegance. It reveals white fruit aromas and subtle minerality, with a silky texture on the palate.
Cuvée Les Varrons Savagnin: this Savagnin, aged under veil, offers a complex aromatic palette, with notes of fresh walnut, dried flowers and spices. On the palate, it reveals itself to be full-bodied and structured, with a persistent, saline finish.
Cuvée Les Graviers Pinot Noir: This Pinot Noir, from old vines planted on gravelly soils, reveals aromas of ripe red fruit, undergrowth and sweet spices. On the palate, it seduces with its finesse, freshness and delicate tannins.
Cuvée Les Combes Vin Jaune: The jewel of the Jura, this Vin Jaune is aged in oak barrels for six years and three months under veil. It offers intense aromas of walnut, curry and dried fruit, with lively acidity and a long, saline finish.

This savagnin aged for a long time by the Domaine Rijckaert is a magnificent Jura white wine. On the nose, the wine develops notes of ripe fruit, bergamot and citrus zest. Full-bodied and fleshy on the palate, with fruity and smoky notes. Very good length.
