Vignobles Millaire in a few words...

It all began in 1950 when Jean Garnier bought 6 hectares of vines in the communes of Saint Michel de Fronsac and Fronsac. In 1979, the vineyard was leased for 18 years. In January 1998, his grandson Jean-Yves Millaire took over the family business. Today, joined by his wife, they farm 17 hectares in three different appellations: AOC Canon Fronsac - AOC - Fronsac - AOC Bordeaux.The Fronsac and Canon-Fronsac appellations are located on the right bank of the Dordogne at the confluence of two rivers (Dordogne and Isle). This feature protects Domaine Millaire's vineyards and ensures a privileged climate. Domaine Millaire is represented by several Châteaux: Château Lamarche Canon on Canon Fronsac, La Rose Garnier on Fronsac, Cavale on Bordeaux. Loupiot is a 100% merlot sulfur-free vin de France produced by le Domaine Millaire. It's a great success!

Philosophy

"Our work as winemakers, focused on quality and respect for our Earth, has naturally led us to organic farming and biodynamics. Thanks to cultivation techniques that use no herbicides, fungicides, insecticides or other synthetic pesticides, we can offer you natural wines that are the pure expression of their terroir. We favor tillage, grassing, leaf thinning and, above all, meticulous monitoring of each plot, because in organic farming, everything is based on anticipation and prevention. Winemaking is done naturally, without artifice, thanks to the winemaker's know-how.The rediscovered symbiosis between man and his vine will enable our wines to express all their quintessence."
