The Domaine Bertrand-Bergé covers 33 hectares of vines, spread over exceptional terroirs in the Fitou appellation. Situated between the sea and the mountains, this unique territory enjoys ideal climatic conditions for producing wines of great aromatic intensity and freshness. Fitou is characterized by a Mediterranean climate, marked by hot, dry summers softened by the influence of sea breezes. This combination ensures optimal ripening of the grapes while preserving their natural acidity. Generous sunshine favors exceptional aromatic concentration, while the sea breeze brings a freshness that balances the richness of the wines.

The estate's varied soils lend great complexity to the wines. Composed mainly of schist, limestone and clay, they allow the grape varieties to express themselves fully. The schists offer the wines minerality and finesse, while the limestone soils provide structure and depth.

The wines produced by the domaine Bertrand Bergé are rich, powerful and full of personality. The estate is currently certified organic, and the wines offer excellent value for money. Domaine Bertrand-Bergé produces mainly red wines. These red wines have great personality, so find them a dish with character to go with them!

The Domaine Bertrand-Bergé cuvée la Boulière has the power but also the freshness of this very special terroir, it's a favorite.

The cuvée Mégalithes is made from 95% of the estate's oldest Carignan grapes. The color of this Fitou is an intense ruby. Its nose is reminiscent of the garrigue, with scents of laurel and thyme. Round and supple on the palate. This wine will pair perfectly with a good wild boar stew, Oriental cuisine or spicy cheeses.

Finally, the cuvée Ancestrale du domaine Bertrand Bergé is made from Carignan, Grenache noir, Syrah and Mourvèdre on clay-limestone soils. Its color is a deep, intense ruby. The nose is complex, with notes of blackberry and blackcurrant. Full-bodied on the palate, with powerful, mellow tannins. This Fitou will go perfectly with a rack of pork with herbs, for example.
