This organic Jurançon from Clos Lapeyre is lively and taut. The palate is complex, with exotic fruit and pineapple, typical of Jurançon wines. Aged without barrels, it retains its beautiful tension. Jean-Bernard LARRIEU, his father Marcel and the Clos Lapeyre team cultivate 17 hectares of vines on steep slopes facing the Pyrenees. The vineyards are on hillsides, at an altitude of between 250 and 350 m. The sometimes steep slopes involve terraced cultivation for around nine hectares.

The domaine de Joy red 2021 Naturellement Joy has a beautiful red color with a nose of blackcurrant buds and raspberry. A supple, fruity palate dominated by raspberry and fresh blackberry.

Produced from the best plots, the Grand Vin Rouge is mainly composed of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. This organic wine develops intense aromas of ripe red fruit, such as cherry and plum, accompanied by subtle notes of vanilla and spices, the result of barrel ageing. The palate is both full-bodied and elegant, with silky tannins and a long finish.

CloseMantoulan is the name of a locality 500 m to the east of Clos Lapeyre. It's an old, renowned wine-growing area that has been replanted at high density with traditional Jurançon grape varieties from massal selection: Petit Manseng, Courbu and Camaralet. The plot covers 1.60 hectares and produces 4,000 to 6,000 bottles a year. This grand vin de gastromie is long, complex and devilishly well-balanced!
