Château des Rontets

Le Château des Rontets in a few words...

The château des Rontets has belonged to the Gazeau-Varambon family since 1850. Located in Fuissé, on the top of the wooded hillside that bounds the village. The terroir is composed of clay and limestone. All the vines, with the exception of a single parcel, are grouped within a Clos that dominates the landscape towards Pouilly, Solutré and Vergisson. The 6 hectares of the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation are planted with old vines dating back to the beginning of the century, and are farmed organically. The wines conceived at Château des Rontets are complex, with a broad aromatic palette, expressing all the intensity of the fruit.
