Domaine Les Terres Promises

Le Domaine des Terres Promises is a winery located in La Roquebrussanne, in the Var region of Provence. Jean-Christophe Comor produces magnificent natural wines here after taking over the estate in 2004 following a career in politics and teaching.

The Domaine des Terres Promises comprises 13 hectares of vines planted at an altitude of 400 meters, on a dolomitic limestone terroir. The grape varieties grown are Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cinsault. Jean-Christophe Comor practises organic and biodynamic viticulture. The grapes are vinified without added sulfites, according to the principles of natural winemaking.

The organic wines from Domaine des Terres Promises are appreciated for their freshness, fruitiness and finesse.

The Bandol from Domaine des Terres Promises is a spirited red, powerful and balanced at the same time: it's Amourvèdre, a tribute to this great Southern grape variety.

A Bouche que veux-tu is a gourmet yet fresh natural white wine of great elegance.

Guide des meilleurs vins de France 2023: "Jean-Christophe Comor has been based in Provence since 2004. A native of Aix-en-Provence and a former political advisor, he now heads up the vineyards spread across two appellations: Coteaux Varois en Provence and Bandol. From his very first vintage, he has opted for organic viticulture in the movement towards natural wines, with punchy expressions of fruit and great sincerity of taste, with "the truth of the pebble in the glass" as he likes to say. He defends an original way of expressing the origin of a terroir, a climate. Endowed with a creative flair, he never hesitates to create surprising cuvées each vintage, according to his inspiration"
