The Domaine d'Orfeuilles , founded in 1947 by Paul HERIVAULT, now comprises almost 20 hectares of vines in the Appellation Contrôlée Vouvray.Spread over the communes of Chançay and Reugny, this vineyard is cultivated by Bernard HERIVAULT and his son Arnaud, who strive to preserve traditions in both the work of the vines, and in the elaboration of their wines. The domaine d'Orfeuilles vineyard is around thirty years old. Situated on the slopes, it benefits from excellent southern, south-western and south-eastern exposure. The clay-limestone soils, covered with a high density of flint, offer ideal conditions for grape ripening. The Domaine d'Orfeuilles is certified organic. Quality/price ratios are particularly attractive.

Les Pierres Girards du domaine de la Bergerie is a cuvée made from 50-year-old Chenin vines. This organic white Anjou develops notes of ripe fruit (peach, apricot) and citrus... On the palate, the suppleness brought by the clay and the liveliness balance each other out. Very good length for this gastronomic wine.

The réserve d'automne du domaine d'orfeuilles is a superb chenin moelleux from passerillées harvests. This pale golden yellow wine with golden highlights reveals thick, close-knit legs. A powerful bouquet reveals a subtle, harmonious blend of candied figs, toasted almonds and even honey. On the palate, it begins with a fleshy, fruity sweetness, finishing with a hint of acidity and a long note of quince. This is a full-bodied wine of remarkable elegance.
