The domaine Henri Gouges is one of the most renowned estates in Nuits-Saint-Georges. It produces mineral, pure wines possessing superb balance to stand the test of time without the slightest hindrance. The estate practices responsible agriculture, following the principles of organic farming without claiming certification. The whole approach of the GOUGES family is concentrated in this maxim: "It is in the vineyard that great wines mature..." The Henri Gouges estate makes wines that are accessible when young, but the 1er cru wines take on their full value after a few years' cellaring. Magical wines of rare finesse.

The cuvée village du Domaine Henri Gouges is made from a selection of 7 different terroirs, over 3 hectares. The estate's wines are frank and generous, but require a few years to come into their own, 5 to 7 years minimum for the villages. A magnificent bottle to cellar!

The Clos des Porrets du Domaine Henri Gouges is a monopoly of the Domaine. The wines produced from this 3.5-hectare clos are rich and deep. Cellar them for 10 years to fully express themselves. A great bottle of Côte de Nuits.

Nuits premier Cru Les Pruliers covers 1.8 hectares and enjoys an ideal location and sunshine in the heart of the vineyard. These vines give body to wines with aromas of wild fruit, venison, imbued with a great deal of minerality.
