The cuvée village du Domaine Henri Gouges is made from a selection of 7 different terroirs, over 3 hectares. The estate's wines are frank and generous, but require a few years to come into their own, 5 to 7 years minimum for the villages. A magnificent bottle to cellar!

The Henri Gouges estate is one of the most brilliant and regular on the Côte de Nuits: in fact, it has been promoted to 2 out of 3 stars by the guide des meilleurs vins de France 2020. The Gouges family has been an institution in Nuits-Saint-Georges for over 80 years. Today, Grégory takes over from his uncle Christian. The quality and approach remain the same: wine is made first and foremost in the vineyard, although the domaine has also modernized its winery. Domaine Henri Gouges wines are fine and elegant.
