It is among the most recognized of the Pic Saint Loup crus. Forerunners in biodynamic vineyard management, Françoise and Christophe have been helping to give the appellation a qualitative boost since 1995. In the winery, vinification and ageing produce generous, powerful wines that are benchmarks for the appellation. The wines from Clos Marie are made naturally: indigenous yeasts, little sulfur. The wines often require a good decanting and a few years' cellaring for the great vintages to fully express themselves.
