The domaine Marcel Deiss is one of the most renowned in Alsace. Jean-Michel Deiss has chosen to highlight the terroirs of Alsace through planted vines. Le trou de l'Ermite du Château de Caraguilhes possesses a dense nose marked by beautiful fruit full of freshness. It develops on deep notes of blackberry and licorice, followed by rosemary and thyme. The palate is round and full-bodied, underlined by dark berry aromas and hints of black tapenade. The freshness of the mid-palate gives the wine real personality.
