The Domaine Les Béates boasts a highly diversified terroir, a mix of soft limestone, sandy sand, clay-limestone over marl and stony soils. This limestone dominance gives our rosés a beautiful fruitiness, and it imposes stricter yield control to obtain powerful, long-keeping reds.
.The estate's grape varieties, from vines sometimes 50 years old, include Grenache Noir, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Carignan, as well as Rolle, Ugni Blanc, Sauvignon and Grenache Blanc.
The Les Béates estate works in organic agriculture: the les Béatines range has lovely freshness and is good value for money. The Les Béates range is more ambitious, with wines aged in oak barrels and designed for ageing. A wonderful discovery!
The domaine des béates has 2 main ranges: the cuvées les Béatines which are thirst-quenching, more easily accessible and on the greedy side, and the cuvées Les Béates which are true gastronomic wines, cut out for ageing.
